Bather Swim Trunks for Men

Bather started in Toronto in 2013 and has made its swim trunks in Canada ever since. That local production is part of why we stock Bather at fig. The trunks are made in smaller runs, often in recycled and sustainable fabrics, and they hold up season after season instead of fading and losing shape by the second summer. The cut does the work. A mid-length inseam sits classic through the leg, tailored enough to wear off the sand without reading like board shorts, so a pair works as easily on a walk or at dinner as it does in the water. A mesh liner and quick-drying fabric take them from swimming to a bar with no change in between, which is most of what you want a trunk to do on a warm day. Some run in fine stripes with a nautical edge, while the solids stay quiet and pack flat, which tends to make them the pair that actually gets worn. The neutral Bather solids take well to the linen and lightweight shirting stocked in men's shirts, and the fine stripes do the same over a plain tee once you're off the beach.
