Coclico: Handmade Leather Loafers, Clogs, and Boots

Coclico has been making shoes in a family-run atelier in Spain since 2000, working with thoughtfully tanned leathers and certified sustainable woods. The New York footwear house keeps a tight focus on handmade leather shoes designed to last, with leather loafers that carry real weight at the last and finish clean at the toe. The aesthetic draws from architecture and movement, with restraint where most brands reach for decoration. Clogs sit modern instead of heavy, and slide sandals strip the form back to its lines without losing the leather underneath.

Spanish-made shoes get a lot of credit by default, but Coclico earns it. Over two decades in, the atelier work is the point: lasts that actually fit, leathers that soften with wear, suede ankle boots that get worn for years and look better for it. Coclico is stocked at KIWI in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and online. Shop more women's shoes.
